The four directors of the Investment Manager are:

Richard Hunt
Richard HuntBEc, Actuarial (Macquarie) - CHAIRMAN
Richard is Executive Chairman at E&P. He was previously Principal at Fort Street Advisers which he established in 2009. Prior to this he worked for UBS Australia for 16 years where he held a number of senior roles including Co-head of Investment Banking Australasia, Head of Real Estate Australasia and a member of a number of global Investment Banking boards and committees.

A successful commercial property market professional in Australia, Richard has been actively involved in a significant number of listed real estate transactions over the past 20 years. Richard’s real estate experience covers a range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, debt restructuring and capital raisings. His clients have included Westfield, Dexus, Goodman Group, GPT, Challenger, Australand, Stockland, Mirvac, AMP Capital, Lloyds International, and Investa.

Richard has a Bachelor of Economics Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University and is a Member of the Takeovers Panel.

Ian Holmes
Ian HolmesBCom, LLB (UNSW) - DIRECTOR
Ian is a Managing Director at E&P with 20 years’ real estate investment banking and corporate advisory experience. Prior to joining E&P, Ian was a Director at Fort Street Advisers and in the Investment Bank of UBS Australia. Ian is the head of E&P’s Real Asset advisory business, and has completed a significant number of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in the real estate sector.

Ian’s clients have included Westfield, Charter Hall, Challenger, Macquarie Group, Colonial First State, Investa, Australand, Peet, and Valad.

Ian has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.

Alex MacLachlan
Alex MacLachlanBA (Cornell), MBA (Wharton) - DIRECTOR
Alex joined Dixon Advisory in 2008 to lead the then newly formed Funds Management division, which later became Walsh & Company.
From funds under management of under $100 million at the time of his start, Alex has grown Walsh & Company Group to over $5 billion of assets under management today, with investments across residential and commercial property, fixed income, private equity, listed equities, and renewable energy.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex was an investment banker at UBS AG, where he rose to Head of Energy for Australasia. During his tenure in investment banking, Alex worked on more than $100 billion in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, advising some of the world’s leading companies.

Alex has a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Jaclyn Strelow
Jaclyn StrelowBJus, LLB. (Hons) (QUT), MBA (MELB) - DIRECTOR
Jaclyn joined Walsh & Company in 2016 to lead corporate finance and capital raising transactions. Jaclyn has a corporate law background and brings substantial experience specialising in debt and equity markets, mergers and acquisitions and corporate development in Australia and the UK, working in listed company and professional services environments.

Prior to joining Walsh & Company, Jaclyn was legal counsel for Aurizon, managing legal risk and strategy across the business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, governance, and treasury functions. Prior to Aurizon, Jaclyn worked as legal counsel in capital markets and professional services with Instinet and PwC Legal in London and Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Australia.

David Rogers
David RogersMchemEng (Imperial) – Director, Investments
David Rogers will be responsible for sourcing and executing all real estate transactions for the Stapled Fund. He has extensive experience across commercial office, retail and industrial markets. David joined FSREC at its inception in 2013 and has executed on all acquisitions and divestments for the Funds.

Prior to joining FSREC, David was Capital Transactions Manager with Charter Hall, where he was involved across 16 listed and unlisted funds, with a total exposure of $10 billion in commercial real estate funds under management. David also previously served as Capital Transactions Manager with Macquarie Real Estate, executing several transactions across Japan, Italy, Germany and Australia, and held other roles within Macquarie Group including the Macquarie Office Trust, a $6 billion global REIT, and the Securitisation division.

David has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, an Associateship of the City and Guilds of London Institute and is a licensed real estate agent.

Jason Hay
Jason HayMBA (RMIT) – Director, Asset Management
Jason is responsible for the strategy and performance of the assets under management by FSREC.

Prior to joining FSREC, Jason was the National Property Manager for Coles Express, responsible for developing and executing the business’ growth strategy, along with overseeing the management of the 680+ store fleet. Previously Jason had been a Portfolio Manager for the Coles Group, responsible for the performance of seventeen shopping centre assets. Jason has also managed iconic retail and office assets such as the Carnaby Street precinct and the Charing Cross Road bookshops, both in London’s West End.

Jason holds a Masters of Business Administration (Executive) and is a licensed estate agent.

Nicholas Lonie
Nicholas LonieBPropEc (UTS) – Asset Manager
Nick joined FSREC in 2017 as an Asset Manager and manages multiple assets across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. He specialises in leasing and operations and is also regularly called upon to provide operational input into FSREC’s capital transaction and fund management work.

Prior to joining FSREC Nick worked at Dexus Property Group in several roles, most recently as the Centre Manager of the redeveloped Gateway Sydney in Circular Quay.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney.

Waqar Qureshi
Waqar QureshiBEc, BCom (ANU) – Asset Manager
Waqar joined Fort Street Real Estate Capital in 2016 focusing on asset management, and is responsible for the management of several of the assets across the Funds. Waqar is also closely involved in managing Fort Street’s sustainability projects and initiatives, to improve energy, water, and waste efficiency across the portfolio.

Prior to Fort Street, Waqar was a Financial Analyst for Dixon Advisory, assisting clients manage wealth in retirement through specialist advice on areas including superannuation structure and investment portfolio management.

Waqar holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the Australian National University.

Kathryn Durrant
Kathryn DurrantBSc (RICS) – Investment Manager
Kathryn’s is responsible for managing fund activities for FSREC, in addition to managing some of the funds’ assets.

Prior to joining FSREC, Kathryn held various roles in commercial agency at CBRE, covering leasing and capital markets across the commercial, retail and industrial sectors. Kathryn also gained previous experience in advisory services at KPMG where she provided valuation and transaction strategy advice to large corporate and government clients.

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management, awarded by Kingston University in 2012. She is also a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Anthony Jones
Anthony JonesBCom (Macq) - Fund Associate
Anthony specialises in investment analysis, projection recommendations, execution and transformation strategies across our fund offerings. He is also responsible for the financial reporting.

Prior to joining Fort Street Real Estate, Anthony was a Manager with KPMG Australia, working in Sydney and New York. Anthony specialised in both the real estate and leasing industries, working for both listed and private clients.

Anthony is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelors of Commerce from Macquarie University.

Amanda Powrie
Amanda PowrieTeam Assistant
Amanda joined Fort Street Real Estate Capital in February 2016 and divides her time between Fort Street Real Estate Capital and Fort Street Advisers. Amanda is responsible for a number of different administrative duties including delivery of high quality documents and presentations.

Amanda has 12 years experience in a corporate environment, eight of these in the real estate sector. Prior to joining the team Amanda worked for CBA, CBRE and McGrath where she held various organisation roles.

Lizzie Wheeler
Lizzie WheelerLeasing Manager - QLD
Lizzie joined FSREC in 2019 with an extensive background in retail leasing, working across transaction advisory on a range of retail assets and projects.

Prior to joining FSREC, Lizzie worked with asset management teams at Knight Frank and a Melbourne based boutique retail agency on a diverse range of assets. Lizzie also has significant experience as a Project Manager having been responsible for a large national lease portfolio as well as gaining invaluable experience managing design, fitout and project delivery.

Lizzie brings her extensive knowledge to the team, with significant experience leading leasing teams in greenfield project developments, asset repositioning, redevelopment strategy planning and static centre leasing. Lizzie is FSREC’s first in-house Leasing Manager, focused on working to deliver strong commercial returns for the portfolio.

Elias Andronicos
Elias AndronicosLeasing Manager - VIC
Elias has over 15 years of experience in the retail property industry with a diverse skillset and experience including retail marketing, asset management & most recently retail leasing. Prior to joining FSREC, Elias worked at QIC as a Project Leasing Executive at Watergardens Shopping Centre, specialising in food / beverage & fresh food retail, this project transformed a 5,000 sqm space into a new concept called the “Marketplace”. Prior to this Elias worked as a Leasing Manager on Woodgrove Shopping Centre with QIC. Elias has also worked for landlords such as Vicinity (formerly Centro) as Retailer/Centre Manger within Melbourne in centres such as Box Hill Central & Whitehorse Plaza, and for Coles Property Group within neighbour centres such as Lynbrook Village & Showgrounds Village.

Elias has a Bachelor of Marketing with joint study of International Marketing from Charles Stuart University.

Viet Ngo
Viet NgoLeasing Manager - NSW
Viet has recently joined FSREC managing the leasing in the FSREC NSW retail portfolio.

With over 8 years of retail real estate experience at Colliers International, Western Sydney University and AMP Capital, Viet has extensive experience in greenfield and brownfield developments for private and institutional landlords. Viet has worked on a range of assets and has specialised in master planning, project leasing, tenancy design and delivery, which has provided valuable insight into maximising the return for retail projects and assets.

Stuart Nisbett
Stuart NisbettBCom, MCom (UNSW), CA - INDEPENDENT CHAIRMAN
Stuart Nisbett is currently an Executive Director and Principal at Archerfield Partners, a boutique corporate advisory firm specialising in real estate, which he established in 2008. He has more than 30 years’ experience in property development, property funds management, equity and debt raising, corporate advisory and project finance.

Previously, Stuart was Executive Director, Head of Property Funds at ANZ Investment Bank. He was also the Managing Director, Head of Property Banking & Property Investment Banking at N M Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Limited. Stuart has also held senior roles at director level at Macquarie Bank Property Investment Banking Division and at Lend Lease Corporation in its development and commercial asset management divisions.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Merit and a Masters of Commerce from the University of NSW, and in 2005 was appointed a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.

Peter Shear
Peter ShearBBus (UTS), EMBA (AGSM), CA - INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Peter joined the Board as an independent director in December 2019, Peter has significant expertise in funds management, financial advisory and complex lending arrangements including leveraged finance, property development and debt workout situations. Peter was most recently Co-Managing Partner of Opportunistic Lending and Special Situations at LIM Advisors. Prior to this role, Peter held positions including Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director & Head of Corporate and Structured Finance at
Lloyds Banking Group (and its predecessor HBOS plc) in Australia. Peter was also previously a Partner in Corporate Finance & Restructuring at Ernst & Young.

He has had various advisory and non-executive director roles for global credit funds and was the NRL’s board representative on Newcastle Knights Rugby League Club.

Peter has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, an Executive MBA from AGSM, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of FINSIA and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Warwick Keneally
Warwick KeneallyBEc, BCom (ANU), CA - DIRECTOR
Before joining Walsh & Company, Warwick worked in chartered accounting firms specialising in turnaround and restructuring. Warwick started his career with KPMG, working in their Canberra, Sydney and London offices and has undertaken a range of complex restructuring engagements across Europe, UK and Australia, for a range of Australian, UK, European and US banks. Warwick has worked with companies and lenders to develop and implement strategic business options, provide advice in relation to continuous disclosure requirements, develop cash forecasting training for national firms, and lectured on cash management. Warwick has a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Commerce from Australian National University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
