Fort Street Real Estate Capital is the Investment and Property Manager of the underlying wholesale trusts which the Fort Street Real Estate Funds’ invest in, and was established through a relationship between Walsh & Company (http://www.walshandco.com.au) and Fort Street Advisers. Fort Street Real Estate Capital focuses on a practical, proactive management approach, employing specialist skills to seek to drive ongoing performance and growth in the funds’ investments. They currently manage 12 commercial properties representing over $750 million.
Walsh & Company Asset Management Pty Limited is the Fund Manager and provides fund management and administrative services to the Funds. Walsh & Company is a Sydney-based specialist global fund manager co-founded by Max Walsh in 2007. Walsh & Company has circa $5 billion worth of client assets under management across global equities, residential and commercial property, private equity, fixed income, and sustainable and social investments. Walsh & Company provides investors with access to market segments that are often beyond reach, helping them build better, high quality diversified portfolios.
Fort Street Advisers is a Sydney-based corporate advisory business that provides strategic and transactional advice to corporate clients. Real estate advisory is a core competency of Fort Street Advisers, with its executives having been actively involved in a significant number of major transactions in the Australian real estate market since 1992.
Two representatives of Fort Street Advisers, Richard Hunt and Ian Holmes, and two directors from Evans Dixon Group, Alex MacLachlan and Jaclyn Strelow, are currently directors of Fort Street Real Estate Capital.
THE RESPONSIBLE ENTITY
Walsh & Company Investments Limited is the Responsible Entity of each of the Funds in the series and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Walsh & Company Group.
The Responsible Entity is accountable for the overall management of the Fort Street Real Estate Capital Fund Series including the determination of its strategic direction, with the aim of increasing Unitholder wealth through the performance of each of the Funds in the Series.
